Facility
Third Eye Studio's engineers and producers offer over forty years of music production experience. Engineers Dana Sampson, Dave McRae, and Robert Trundle have teamed together to create a professional studio with world class vintage and modern gear.
The studio's main tracking Room is 800 sq ft with a 17’ high ceiling, with wood and carpeted floor. This room has incredible acoustics and is perfect for any recording, be it piano, strings, horns, drums or anything else. In addition there's also 2 instrument isolation rooms and a vocal isolation booth.
Our top quality analog equipment gives us the ability to make your music compete with any commercial recording on the market. We can create mixes that retain the dynamics but give you excellent low end punch and impact. Our recordings are rich in color and depth with great stereo imaging and clarity. All of this at a price that can meet almost any budget.
Third Eye Studios offers quiet seclusion combined with professional staff for a comfortable and inspirational place to record.
The Owners
Dave McRae (Engineer / Producer)
With over 17 years of professional experience in studio and live sound, Dave brings his love and wide-ranging knowledge of music to every project he works on. In 2007 Dave teamed up with co-owner Dana Sampson to create a recording environment with the performer in mind. They bring together the versatility of digital recording and the sonic quality of classic analog equipment and put it into a facility that is a pleasure to perform in.

As founder of Third Eye Studios, Dana had a vision of making the business more than just another place to record a demo. He saw a facility with amazing acoustics and high quality equipment. And, with the help of fellow engineer Dave McRae, in 2007, that's just what Third Eye Studios became. A professional studio that is a recording destination for artists throughout the southwest and as far away as Los Angeles and New York City. Equally capable in any musical genre, Dana's 20+ years of experience shine through on every recording he works on.
